About Me
I am Luo Cheng Yuan (Alan), a graduate of the Department of Resource Engineering at National Cheng Kung University. I completed my master's degree at the same university in the Earth Observation System Laboratory within the Department of Resources Engineering. My master's research focused on 'Control Analysis of Road Information Feature Extraction Using Autonomous Vehicle LiDAR.' My main expertise lies in LiDAR technology and High-Definition mapping.
Currently working as a Test Development Engineer at Intel Corporation. I have participated in projects involving GPGPU, CXL devices, and reference platforms in collaboration with ODMs and customers. Additionally, I served as a Project Leader in my department, overseeing project progress at Wistron. Currently, I am the manufacturing test owner for an entry-level server project at Intel.
I am familiar with knowledge and skills in System Level Validation, like: functional, stress , RAS, performance, cycling test, which are related to SW, HW, FW, BMC, networking, servers, Linux. Moreover, I have the abilities of Test Plan Drafting, Manufacturing Tests, Automated Test Scripts Writing, Presentation, etc.

Product assurance engineer at Wistron is my first job after graduating from National Cheng Kung University. After 3 years in Wistron, I joined Intel for further personal growth.
Throughout my career, I have acquired extensive knowledge in server, PCIE, manufacturing test, test script writing, etc. I have participated in multiple global projects with world-class brand companies & ODM.
In the lab, to enhance efficiency and prevent errors, I have written numerous automated scripts using Linux bash and python across various projects. Beyond the lab, I have gained valuable experience in manufacturing tests, debugging, contributing to the smoother progression of production processes."

Project Leader of CXL Type 3 Device
This project was my first project leader experience, and at that time, I had been with the company for approximately over a year.
We lacked specific CXL validation experience, so I took on the responsibility of establishing the fundamentals, including the construction of study plans, test plans, utilization of test tools, and the creation of automated test scripts.
The client company was relatively small and new, resulting in limited production experience. Many testing and production processes were unfamiliar and chaotic. Consequently, we provided substantial support and shared our expertise in both production testing and process management.

Representing my Department for Presentation.
Every season, the entire PA division (~150 members) holds a PA forum for introducing new technologies, sharing project experiences, and discussing future plans. Over the past three years, I have had two opportunities to represent my department during these presentations. And this is also the highest number in my department at this forum.
When I as a project leader, our customers visited Wistron several times. I took on the responsibility of representing the PA team, reporting the project status, and showcasing our PA capabilities to the Vice President, managers, and other members of our customer team in English.
